Surface Grinding Attachment

A precision attachment for accurately and repeatedly flattening work directly on Vormac belt grinders. Mounted on a solid aluminum arm with a 150mm diameter X 60mm wide hard polyurethane-covered contact wheel for using your choice of belts to get the desired results. Using an oversize 20mm linear rail and two linear block bearings guarantees smooth and play-free operation. Workpieces up to 500mm long can be surfaced without re-positioning. A standard dial indicator can be mounted to take accurate readings while grinding. Each attachment is carefully adjusted and then surfaced before shipping so that it is fully functional upon receipt.
